Hiteco & Harmuth: a wide spindle range for many sectors!
FROM A NEED TO A SUCCESS
Andreas Harmuth is founder and owner of Harmuth CNC, a 25-person company producing machining centers in the northern Germany. The business was born when a need arose. In the 90’s, Andreas started a business in advertising technology and needed a machine that the market did not offer, so he decided to create it. In the 80’s he worked at Airbus, so it was easy for him to get involved! Since the first machine, industry fairs had started and the business took off.
POWERTECH series
Harmuth CNC currently offers machines for the automotive, aerospace, composite materials processing and advertising graphics sectors. Harmuth turns to Hiteco for milling spindles. The first type of electrospindle Harmuth purchased was the Powertech 300 which is used in all sectors, including plastic processing. Another type of Hiteco electrospindles that Harmuth uses is the Powertech 400 series and in particular the version with encoder: more powerful and capable of carrying out rigid tapping or orienting the knives. Harmuth uses the Powertech 250 at 8 kW with high speed up to 36000 rpm, ideal for milling plexiglass.
ROBOTECH series
For the industrial sector Harmuth has chosen the Robotech PX spindle, which is very powerful and suitable for leveling.
WHY DID HARMUTH CHOOSE HITECO?
The collaboration between Harmuth and Hiteco is strong thanks also to the Service. Andreas Harmuth considers the service to be very efficient, especially due to the speed of response and repairs.
