HITECO continues its unstoppable growth at Xylexpo 2018

HITECO’s participation in the recent 26th edition of Xylexpo (8-12 May 2018) was marked by its fast-growing global reach. Numerous visitors from all around the world flocked to the HITECO’s stand, a company that in recent years has expanded its presence in Europe, Asia and North America.

Thanks to its new elegant and modern stand design, HITECO succeeded in highlighting its new products which are revolutionising its solid brand. The HITECO products – spindles, boring heads, bi-rotary and aggregate heads – presented at Xylexpo with new designs, were the top attractions at the fair, drawing a large crowd of industry professionals.

HITECO's core products, spindles, were displayed at Xylexpo using the innovative synchronous technology. With a synchronous motor of up to 20 kW, the new PX series of spindles demonstrates HITECO's strategy of offering itself as a valuable partner not only to the woodworking industry but also to other industries which process such materials as light alloys, plastics and composites. Among the new benefits offered by this series are the possibilities of attaching an air tool onto spindles and of having lubrication through shaft (oil mist, MQL), which improve performance when processing such materials.

During the fair, HITECO also presented the new range of modular boring units which provide end customers with the possibility of assembling the product according to their specific production needs, while adhering to the principles of "mass customisation". In fact, the boring unit could include a variable number of spindles grouped especially for the specific processing needs of the end user. Thanks to an innovative system of lifetime lubrication, the HITECO boring heads can provide modularity, unique performance and speeds of up to 8,000 rpm, without requiring any maintenance.
